Hello! My name is Yukiko Nezu. I was born in Tokyo, Japan, but for almost 20 years I live in Amsterdam. In daily life I work as an architect, but in my free time I love to be a creative mama: sewing curtains, painting with my son, taking care of the plants and cooking Japanese food (and eating it!). Fun part of the challenge to cook Japanese in Amsterdam is get all the ingredients, or to work my way around it.
This cooking course is for everybody who is interested in real Japanese cooking. I would like to teach how Japanese basic seasoning works and what it is. Nowadays every family has soy sauce in their kitchen to eat sushi. That is enough to start to cook variety of Japanese dishes. Let’s go beyond sushi!
